On October 7th 2025, Fastabiqul Khairat welcomed Ms. Jackie Drake from Vasse Primary School, Australia, the sister school of Fastabiqul Khairat Elementary.
The visit began with traditional dance performances (Kancet Ledo and Kancet Pepatay) by Alya, Emir, and Azdan. Afterwards, Ms. Jackie joined the students to learn the dances, play traditional games like congklak and ampar-ampar pisang, and taste local snacks. A student-led talk show followed, creating a warm discussion about school life and cultural diversity.
As a token of friendship, Ms. Jackie received a Dayak beaded crown (mahkota manik) and an anjat (woven backpack). May this visit mark the beginning of future collaborations between the two schools!
